Annual Fall Heirloom Bulb and Plant Sale

Jr. Martin, Collums, Glenda J.

Fall Heirloom Bulb & Plant Sale date for 2014 to be announced!

Master Gardeners have searched out sources for the heirloom bulbs found in pioneer cemeteries and old home places. Heirloom and Southern bulbs are in high demand and are not readily available on the retail market. Thousands of bulbs, many of them hard-to-find varieties, will be available for purchase by the general public at reasonable prices. They will include spider lilies (Lycoris) in white, yellow, red and the new orange color; oxblood (school house) lilies in red and pink; crinums; rain lilies; an assortment of bluebells, snowflakes, starflowers, daffodils and hardy heirloom gladiolas. Peonies and instructions on how to grow them successfully in the Deep South will also be available.

This is your opportunity to have these hard-to-find heirloom bulbs blooming in your yard and garden next spring. A free help desk will be staffed with Master Gardeners to answer your gardening questions.

Be sure to attend the Master Gardeners' Annual Fall Heirloom Bulb & Planting Sale.
